Turning Tragedy To Triumph

Turning Tragedy to Triumph

Helping Personal Injury Victims Recover

Hopefully you will never find yourself in a scenario like this, but imagine yourself driving down a long straight road listening to your favorite song, or on the way to make a delivery or visit a job site for your boss. Everything seems to be going right when all of a sudden you look up to see a car headed straight at you as they swerve out of their lane and into yours.

You wake up in the hospital as you are being wheeled into the operating room and you overhear the nurses say that you have multiple broken bones and will be in surgery for quite awhile. Then you wake up what seems like moments later, but hours have passed and you are in a hospital recovery room. The surgeon tells you that you suffered substantial injuries, but you are going to be alright after a three to four month recovery period.

If you have ever found yourself in this situation, then you have felt the fear, anger, sadness and helplessness that every personal injury victim feels after a serious accident. It is very difficult to pick yourself back up after being knocked down like this, and many times people do not even know where to begin. Injury victims face the fears of steep medical bills and the financial hit that they may take for having to miss work during their recovery; that is, if they can even return to the job that they had before. On top of that, they begin thinking about haggling with the insurance companies and how difficult it could be to get fair compensation for all of their injuries and damages.

No one should ever have to go through this alone. That is where we come in.

We Are Passionate About Standing Up for Injury Victims

AtKaleita Law Firm, LLC we handle serious workers' compensation and personal injury claims for real people on a daily basis, and we see the hurt and pain that our clients are going through. It is this very thing that drives us to get up and come into the office every morning. We take great pride and satisfaction in helping serious injury victims and their families, not just in recovering from the injuries they have suffered, but in turning their current tragic circumstances around entirely.

While money from settlement of a workers' compensation or personal injury claim cannot erase the original injuries, excellent medical care combined with a generous settlement can and does serve as a platform upon which to build a new life, a new career, a new set of hopes and dreams.

We are passionate and driven to help people in their time of need to rise up again, to not only rebuild their lives, but to make them even better than before.

Nothing brings us more satisfaction than taking a client from suffering to a happy ending and a new beginning. Nothing satisfies us more than bringing a client successfully through his or her medical care to realize a new career; a new pathway in life; or, perhaps, a return to a path or career once dreamed of or postponed, but now able to be realized. What sets our firm apart is we don't view clients as case numbers or billable hours; they are all individual people we can help. It is our mission to do so, and we put in the effort to care for clients and ultimately end up building lasting friendships with many of them. At our office, we have a long list of "favorite past clients."

We Know When to Fight & When to Negotiate

When it comes to your case, we do what is right for you—not our egos. How We Get Results.

This Is Our Inspiration for the Work We Do

We have a picture that hangs in my office, just to the right of my desk. In the picture, which Doug Kaleita took himself, you see a cannon in Gothenburg, Sweden, in a fort that was built in the 1600's. This antique cannon does not fire cannon balls anymore, though. This one has daisies growing out of the muzzle, perhaps after being planted there by someone. When Attorney Kaleita started his own law practice as a workers' compensation and personal injury attorney, he framed this picture and put it up next to his desk. He enjoys looking up at this picture as a daily reminder of the positive impact our work has on the lives of our clients and their families. To put in plainly, this picture of a long silent cannon with daisies growing from the muzzle is a perfect representation of turning tragedy into triumph; of taking something bad and making it into something good.

This is how we view our law practice. We take great pride in helping people recover from whatever accident or tragedy has befallen them and creating a positive outcome and an opportunity for them to grow in a new direction.

If you or someone you love has been injured in some type of accident, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss retaining us as your workers' compensation and personal injury attorney. You will be better off for it.
